Free guided walk Beyond the Horizon on Saturday 17th September, part of the Reading the Hurlers Open Pay, running at 10am and 2pm.
The Hurlers is an important monument in the landscape from which alignments to other prehistoric sites can be traced. This walk will take in some of these key monuments which although being geographically close, cannot be seen from the Hurlers.
It will also explore where those who built these monuments lived and worked. Approx: 3 miles/5km, footwear and clothing suitable for moorland walking, sorry no dogs, meet at the Reading the Hurlers excavation site.
